Problem solving
Problem solving and innovation in UK development projects is the core of Coral’s work.
It leads naturally to its being invited on occasion to apply the team’s intelligence to a variety of projects beyond the central ‘housing with care’ scope, for clients who value lateral thinking and creativity but who work within severe constraints and against externally-imposed conditions.
Working internationally
These include situations created by armed conflict.
Coral considers projects overseas in a variety of contexts, such as developing government or NGO-led concepts for conflict mitigation and remediation.
Examples include design and delivery of specialist living and rehabilitation spaces for veterans with disabilities in Ukraine, for women and children separated by war and housing with care for adults living with disabilities.
Working in partnership
The challenge Coral meets is to work with technical and local partners to deliver what is needed on the ground.
Coral’s innovation in these contexts extends to the creation of modular platforms using digital design and delivery processes, working with international delivery partners in order to add to safety and security, and helping to keep down cost-in-use.
Naturally, special conditions may apply in overseas contexts. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your requirements.
Academic engagement
We regularly work with universities to share insight and expertise, and to encourage the development of new talent within the sector.
